Psychological Factors Cause Premature Ejaculation:
Number One Cause Premature EjaculationStudies have shown, that the majority of premature ejaculation is caused mostly by psychological problems.
Premature Ejaculation is believed to be a psychological problem and does not represent any known organic disease involving the male reproductive tract or any known lesions in the brain or nervous system. Premature ejaculation may also be caused or aggravated by psychological factors such as
- Guilt (believing the activity is sinful e.g., premarital or extramarital sex);
- Fear (associated with concerns regarding potential pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, or getting caught or discovered);
- Performance Anxiety (especially in the inexperienced partner or with partners new to each other); and interpersonal issues affecting the couple.
- Stress
- Depression
Premature ejaculation can be caused by temporary depression, stress over financial matters, unrealistic expectations about performance, a history of sexual repression, or an overall lack of confidence.
Physical Factors Cause Premature Ejaculation : Oversensitivity of penises or genitalia
Many men who suffer ongoing problems of premature ejaculation, do in fact have a deficiency of serotonin in their systems.
Number of studies have discovered differences in nerve latency/conduction times and the hormones of men who suffered from premature ejaculation from those who have no problem reaching ejaculation in a much longer time.
The belief is that men who suffer from premature ejaculation have some oversensitivity on their penises or genitalia, thus making them feel more sensation and having a much faster build up of orgasms that lead to premature ejaculation.
